Zine Binding Workshop

Have you tried binding a zine? Learn basic stitch binding, saddle stitch and coptic binding with Auckland Zinefest.

Auckland Zinefest will be at the Gallery to host this workshop and to teach you a range of binding choices that will help create an understanding of the impact on paper choices when making a zine.

Suitable for 12 years and older or for children aged 7-11, we have included a Creative Caregivers ticket to encourage inter-generational creating. All children aged 7-11 must be accompanied by a caregiver who is 18 years and older.

This is a 3-hour workshop and participates are encouraged to bring a snack.

When: Saturday 18th July from 11:00am – 2:00pm
Where: Auckland Art Gallery

This is a paid workshop.
General admission, $28 plus fees; Creative Caregivers, $40 plus fees (includes two people)

Zine Lino Printmaking Workshop

If you’re after a fun zine lino printmaking experience with Auckland Zinefest artists, then you need to come to this workshop.

Learn lino printmaking cutting techniques with the experts and make prints with varying colours and layers of imagery. Bring your prints together into a creative zine that you will take home with you.

Suitable for anyone aged 12 years and older. We now have a Creative Caregivers ticket option that allows children aged 7-11 to attend with a caregiver who is over 18. This is to encourage the opportunity for inter-generational creating.

When: Friday 17th July from 10:30am – 3:30pm
