“Illustration is my foundation. I have stamped my feet firmly and kept the fires of art burning within my chosen professions of the signwriting & graphic design industries. When the computers took hold of those creative-crafted trades and threatened the artists, designers of all kinds, I stood strong and aligned, continuing the techniques, while disguised as a computer design and vinyl stick on guy. But in recent years, I’ve been found out! As the real artist has been revealed. My backlogs of comic strip styles and new illustrations have come to the surface, in the form of Zines and printed artworks. So many pieces lying around in art draws & photographic files, past works that were destroyed or zipped off to foreign lands never to be seen again, retro imaged and re-mastered for present and future viewing.

The new “Gorgeous Threads” collab art/poetry under the name of Alexander J Rose, a homeless guy with a past and conscience that gives out wisdom & superpowers so we can all feel the real us without judgement, and allow us to feel confident in our own skin… “Everyone is Gorgeous!” But the drawings do the talking.”
