Splitclay

Kia ora,

I'm Splitclay (they/them).

A few things about me: I'm trans, neurodivergent and disabled.

Art has been a core part of expressing myself, and something that I've enjoyed for as long as I can remember. I have this goal of eventually making art in every medium possible, which explains the long list of mediums I enjoy playing with.

I would say my main mediums are digital art, prints/printed art, stickers, zines, and crochet at the moment.

The themes of my art are informed by my life experiences, such as; navigating my gender identity and sense of self, life after surviving trauma, honouring my spirituality and it's root in healing, existing under capitalism and the ironic humor I use to cope with that, and honestly just drawing for the sake of it and trying not to take it too seriously.
