The Agenda is a Tāmaki Makaurau-based zine that aims to amplify queer voices and art in Aotearoa. Our zine works to provide a platform for people within the queer community to express and represent themselves in the way that is most empowering for them. This consists of written pieces (poetry, interviews, and more) and artwork (photography, comics, drawings, and more).

Our second issue, released in 2021, won Auckland Zinefest’s ‘best of the fest overall’ award! In June last year, we launched our third volume which addresses the theme, ‘body’. This was held at the wonderful Studio One Toi Tū. You can access this for free online (check our handles below). We’ll also be selling hard copies both days of Auckland Zinefest!
