Sarah is an artist who works primarily with fabric and puppeteering. Her practice revolves around

ideas of gesture and communication, and exploring the vitality of the materials she works with. She

works with a range of media, including video, photography, sculpture, and illustration. Her zines are an extension of this exploration, showcasing her work and telling stories with fabric and puppetry.

She has always loved the material nature and tactility of zines, and enjoys making her own books

and zines, with a particular love for hand-binding.

Her work features characters and creatures made of folds, ruffles, and shapes of fabric. The

characters are a little strange in appearance, but (usually) very friendly!
