MK Templer is an Ōtautahi based Cartoonist and Animator. In her free time she helps organise Ōtautahi Zinefest and works on her own comics. This year she is bringing a few new projects to Auckland Zinefest including; a new issue of Cactus Cat, mini vegetarian cooking zines and a card game created for the upcoming general election. Her work is inspired by snippets of fantasy and the weird and wonderful world around us.
