Summer Zinefest Map

Celebrate zines and DIY culture in the sun with our Summer Zinefest!
With 60+ zinemakers selling their zines, prints, crafts and more you’ll be inspired

Here’s all you need to make the most of it ~ where to find us, free activities you can take part in, a map to help you find your favourite zinemakers and more!

  • The market is free to attend and is suitable for all ages.

Browse and purchase self-published zines ranging from poetry to politics, comics to collage as well as illustrations, prints and stickers.

  • ➜ Bring Cash.
Most of the stallholders will either offer cash or bank transfers, so make sure to bring plenty of cash or have access to internet banking.

    ➜ Bring a bag.
You’ll be encountering plenty of zines, books and other goodies so it’s best to bring a handy bag to carry them all throughout the day. We do offer free paper bags at the Auckland Zinefest Info Desk on the Ground Level by the Gallery entrance.

  • Drive, bus, train or walk to the zinefest market at the Auckland Art Gallery located on the corner of Wellesley Street East and Kitchener Street, Auckland CBD.

➜ If you’re using public transport we recommend using AT’s Journey Planner to find the best route from your location.

➜ If you’re driving and need parking, we recommend parking at one of AT’s Car Parks for the cheapest rates. The closest being the Victoria St Car Park and the Civic Car Park.

Make sure to avoid the Wilson Car Park right across the gallery to stay clear of expensive parking!
