Raewyn Alexander has made zines and produced books for decades. Their work are also published by mainstream publishers and independents in Aotearoa NZ and overseas. Many folk enjoy drawing, and writing lessons, and some learn zine-making at Blue Haven Writing Workshops, Grey Lynn. Raewyn also maintains a studio shop there, Zine Hope, by appointment. Soon opening Wah-wah Gallery, at the same location, summer 2023, launching Animal Jazz and her second full-colour comic about a demi pan stand-up comedian who dresses as a man and a woman at the same time, and is searching for love, safety, and care.
