Marijke

Marijke, creator of @Five_Stitch_Printhouse, resides in her hometown Tāmaki Makaurau and studied Fine Arts in Ōtautahi. Her art practice balances refined works that reflect upon queerness with lighthearted zines that invite the audience to laugh and joke. At Auckland Zinefest 2021 she won the best art zine award for Hero To One a zine illustrating intimate moments between a queer couple.
