IWT Project Space

IWT, a protracted facilitation project by artist Jonathan Alexander Kennedy, exists as an ‘every so often’ publisher and ‘very rarely but sometimes’ project space, which operates in a nepotistic manner.

For the time being, my multidisciplinary practice utilises various means to consider doing something and claiming time. Publication is understood as a means to archive. In this case, a site of inquiry where the context of drawing, painting, sculpture, still / moving image can exist together in an ever-shifting / expanding sense due to the nature of printed media.

Research is tied up in everyday life, employing a methodology of empirical engagement and documentation. The presented publications are notations of repetition and difference. Taking into account action in relation to the material world, duration and potential highlight non-guaranteed outcomes of a site (a ‘zine’).
