Oscar Norris — The Daily Cynic

Oscar Norris - The Daily Cynic-100.jpg

The Daily Cynic was born from a sense of urgency to decide who you are as an individual. People escape to subcultures (stoners, alternatives, breathers) to find purpose in a collective because there is not enough certainty - the chosen vocation will be fulfilling. There is a sense of disillusionment, the need to feel unique and heard is constantly questioned by how society perceives how necessary your field chosen is (“oh you study a BA?”).

It is a creative collaboration among a group of friends, with a gift of the gab for talking all things that disenfranchise and disillusion. Recreating through the zine, a sense of conversation between like-minded individuals.
