Moyashi Kiwi

“Hello! My name's Katie and I love Illustration. I studied at Victoria University of Wellington where I have completed a bachelor’s degree in Design Innovation. Most of my practice comes from drawing different characters of my own and special interests. More recently I have started to draw more Vector-based artwork inspired by my surroundings and from my favourite animals (mostly dogs!). Most of my work nowadays is digital-based, but more recently I’ve been trying to branch out into different materials.

Being a part of the LGBT community myself I love making zines, comics and stories about gay characters that I have created (one of which has an official pilot!) as well as making the occasional meme-y zine about whatever decides to pop into my little noggin.
