“Diva Ford is a painter, writer, crafter, groover and student of Arts Therapy living, loving and learning in Tāmaki Makaurau! Her zines are a pick n mix of poetry, painting, illustration and photography exploring themes of love, relationships, mental illness, addiction, and the strangeness of the world. She vibes in a realm of abstraction, surrealism, and all things that get the imagination tingling! Diva is passionate about making creativity accessible and fun and raising awareness about mental health in our communities. She created Hand Painted Happy to bring creative expression into the everyday and spread colour through clothing, jewellery, sculpture, poetry and illustration.”
