Coriyu & Chloe de la Lune
Coriyu is a web developer by day, and an artist by night. She loves to draw and do crafts that embody a cute and whimsical vibe and is inspired by cute food, fashion and self care, among other things. Her current tool of choice is the iPad, though she is slowly branching out by trying different crafts such as crochet and ceramics. The zines she creates gives a peek of what goes on in her mind through the combination of drawings and words. Her latest zine is about her recent obsession with crochet.
Chloe is an illustrator and portrait artist based in Auckland, who is also known by her artist handle Chloe de la Lune. She is originally from Hong Kong and came to New Zealand when she was about nine years old. She loves to tell stories with her artwork, using subjects like people, animals and flowers with a cute or fantasy twist to intrigue and connect with the viewer. Her art is created with a range of traditional and digital media such as oils, markers, Photoshop and the Procreate app. Her zines mostly contain illustration and writing – she like to create zines that uses illustration to explore and raise awareness of social issues, but she also enjoys creating whimsical zines that documents her personal interests, experiences and perspectives on life and art. She is inspired by nature, stories, and the art of the Pre-Raphaelites.
